Project: Workforce Mobilization with Citrix

The client is a certified health agency that provides nursing and rehabilitative services to patients in the home environment. With three satellite locations, remote computing was needed for a distributed workforce of nearly a thousand workers.

 

To address the specific needs of over sixty remotely circulating nurses, Citrix Metaframe XPA was installed across three servers. This solution provides compliant and secure remote connectivity that is accessed through an Internet portal and that is easily managed from a central location.

 

The mobile caregivers are able to access and update patient health records in real time, while maintaining the levels of privacy mandated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other industry regulations.
